Excel 2007 for windows 10

 

I worked with Excel in Windows 8. I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and started encountering issues when working with excel. I took the same file and try to work on Excel in recently upgraded Windows 10 machine. I noticed that it took a while for the file to open.

After opening and trying to work on the file, the display started to blink constantly thereby preventing me from working on the file. I open up task manager and notice that the 60 Mbytes file utilized over Mbytes of memory in windows This issue is not a rare event as others have reported similar issues in other forum.

Is this a known issue within Windows development team? Does it only affects Excel or other Office apps. Is it also causing problem in Office , and ? Was this discussion helpful? I have spent hours trying to "fix" the problem. I even created a new Excel spreadsheet and when it "saves" it saves in Notepad. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. I have used Excel with XP, Windows 8 with no problem. How satisfied are you with this reply? In reply to phenalbindia's post on August 12, Mine doesn't blink but I forgot to mention, there was embedded text from another worksheet in the worksheet in question after the Windows 10 upgrade.

Keeps telling me "read only" Is there no other solution for this kind of issue?? I seemed to have the problem immediately after the Windows 8. I corrected the cells in error and it doesn't seem to be happening again. Do we think this is a post conversion issue and going forward spreadsheets will not be altered? I recently got a new computer with Windows I had my files transferred over. This site in other languages x.
