Expandable text fields in PDF Forms, with Adobe Acrobat - Stack Overflow.

I would like to create a pdf with text fields that expand in height but when you are finish typing that they revert back to there original size so as not to cover anything up or flow the rest of my file off the page. Is this do-able? I have Adobe Livecycle Designer but know little to nothing about it, have only tinkered. I also have Acrobat Pro X. To create a re-flowable form, make sure your document is saved as a Dynamic XML PDF format and then organize your form into sections of subforms see Adobe's help page.

With either form type you can have both positioned and flowed content. The trick is to divide your form into subforms according to the structure of the data you want to display tutorial. To let the text field grow automatically with the amount of text, enclose it in a subform with flowed content, allow multiple lines and enable "expand to fit" or "auto-fit.
